Erigeron karvinskianus is a variety of daisy-like flowers that self seed like CRAZY!

These look beautiful in nooks and crannies, up steps and along paths, but only plant into borders with the strong warning that these will self seed everywhere! I'm going to grow them in old terracotta pots and dot them around the gravel area in my garden. This variety is a perennial which forms mats of flowers which grow only to 15cm in height, and they have narrow, hairy leaves and daisy-type flower-heads, opening white but soon turn to a beautiful pinkish-purple colour.
